The Facilities at our Disposal
The Facilities enjoyed by the students of Stanes Higher Secondary School rank next to none in the town of Coimbatore.
For the academics, class rooms are huge and airy, built in the style of high roofed english architecture. Other facilities include separate laboratories, one for each branch of science, a huge library christened "Nalanda", a large assembly hall, a chapel for daily prayer and an outdoor podium.
For the Sportsmen, it boasts of the only Indoor Staduim available in any school in and around Coimbatore. This stadium is built to international standards and has a basketball court, table tennis tables, a shuttle court and a gymnasium.
In addition to these facilities, the sprawling campus of the school also has an outdoor basketball court, two cricket fields, a football field as well as a hockey field. The school also boasts of a well maintained 400m atheletic track.
All these facilities have immensely helped the students of the school to shine in both the academic front as well as the sports front. This is borne out by the consistantly high results and State Ranks on the academic arena as well the the various laurels in the sporting arena.
The School also boasts of a NCC Air Wing attached to the No. 2 TN Air Squadron.
